Summary of Job:

The Business Analyst leads the analysis pre-work in support of client project initiatives with a proactive project execution strategy. This position coordinates and actively participates in the analysis, development and implementation of custom configurations and procedures for our clients; must be able to interpret the meaning and relevance of raw data with particular focus on data integrity and accuracy and is responsible for documenting Standard Operating Procedures as well as analyzing and implementing process improvements. The Business Analyst interacts with the PM's, IT teams and all levels of management, must be able to drive and influence client requests, and will be responsible for aligning analysis in support of goals and project deliverables that affect client and project deadlines.

Project Management:

  • Develop and maintain documentation for both new and existing client business and system processes
  • Coordinate projects between Client Services and IT as the department and client representative
  • May support multiple projects while maintaining support of day to day business
  • See projects from analysis through implementation

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly or daily technical system set-up status reports to team and client as needed
  • Review, analyze, and evaluates business systems and client needs. Work directly with client and account managers to develop requirements for system development efforts and detailed technical specifications
  • Write test and use cases and drive quality assurance through System and User Acceptance Testing
  • Prepare and document functional and technical specifications
  • Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting requirements and propose solutions
  • Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the Project Team for all solutions
  • Analyze divisional procedures to identify areas for automation, process improvement, etc. 
  • Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
  • High school education or equivalent, a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience implementing or onboarding clients to include gathering business requirements. 
  • Business analysis experience or data analysis experience preferably with a software solution focus
  • Advanced level with word processing applications, spreadsheets, Visio, MS Project Knowledge FTP and data file formats

Preferred Requirements:

  • CR Software knowledge a plus
  • Exposure and experience in working with call center metrics preferred
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Prior experience in analytical skills

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Leadership ability; comfort running conference calls, managing projects, and coordinating deliverables
  • Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and has the ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues quickly
  • Ability to communicate business concepts, practices and processes (building workflow processes) and business process mapping
