SailPoint Developer

Navient is searching for a mid to senior level Java developer to support a commercial software--SailPoint Identity IQ. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years developing Java for enterprise applications. In addition, the candidate will possess a willingness to receive specialized training to tailor their Java experience in supporting this commercial tool.

Responsibilities for the Java Developer include configuration, back end development, and support of SailPoint's Identity IQ suite of products. The successful candidate need not have any formal training on or experience with SailPoint; although, company sponsored training will become mandatory after being hired.

Production Support

* Support Identify IQ non production and production environments
* Cross train in implementation of password synch configurations which includes backend coding.
* Java and XML troubleshooting

Project Work

* Using SailPoint Identity IQ training, work with internal and contract staff to implement the SailPoint road map which includes implementation of authorization provisioning and other automated processes developed through SailPoint.
* Java and XML development

Teamwork

* Conform to standards for documentation, procedures, and compliance for projects within corporate guidelines for architecture, security, and scalability.
* Collaborate with other team members to share information for product support.

Requirements

* 7+ years of professional work experience Java development in a medium to large IT environment.
* 5-7 years of professional work experience XML development in a medium to large IT environment.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a medium to large enterprise environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Bachelors Degree - Information Technology/Computer Science - Additional equivalent experience above the required minimum may substitute for the checked level of education

Must be able to obtain High risk (6C) public trust security clearance as required of federal government contractors to include a background check conducted by the U.S. Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment for public trust or sensitive positions.

For this level of clearance, must possess U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency of the United States and resided continuously in the United States for a minimum of three (3) years.

OTHER HELPFUL EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

* Experience in Eclipse or similar tool
* Experience with Sailpoint's Identity IQ suite of products
* Experience in Sailpoint's SSB process
* Experience with Identity and Access Management.
* Installation and support of COTs
* Microsoft Active Directory
* Basic knowledge of technical infrastructure (e.g., servers, database, storage, network)
* SPML
* PowerShell
* CISSP certification
* J2EE certification
* Experience working with a source code management tool (i.e., Microsoft Team Foundation Server)
