Duncan Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Navient, is a full-service tolling and parking management company and a leading provider of business processing services to government clients, including citation processing, debt collection, and integrated parking and tolling customer service.

We are currently seeking a Correspondence Specialist II to receive and process written correspondence from citizens regarding parking violations, toll violations and other matters. Acting on behalf of our clients, you will use your outstanding customer service skills to respond to citizen inquiries with accurate information, ensuring that all written correspondence is properly documented, uploaded and indexed in the database system. Under general supervision, you will research and resolve written disputes, process dispositions from pre-trial conferences / city attorney hearings, and process bankruptcies in accordance with client guidelines.

You will be introduced to researching and handling escalated account situation from the Correspondence department, communication directly with Account Managers and Clients. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter that is goal driven and solution oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to read, write, comprehend and follow documented guidelines. You must be detail oriented and able to multi-task, in addition to having strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to type 35 wpm
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be comfortable working at a fast pace
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong background in Math
  • Regular attendance during regularly-scheduled business hours

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Duncan client systems ability (preferred)
  • Collections experience a plus
  • Organizational skills a plus
