Our Sr. HRIS Reporting Analyst bridges the gap between HR, business, and technology. Utilizing regular and ad hoc reports from our Human Resource Management System (Workday) and other data sources, this key role supports efficiency, transparency and data integrity enterprise-wide. Our ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience in developing, analyzing, and maintaining/ troubleshooting comprehensive (Workday) reporting systems.

This is a fully remote position.

Areas of Focus:

Reporting & Analytics

  • Implement and conduct HR reporting across the enterprise ad-hoc and ongoing.
  • Develop/enhance executive level dashboards, reports, alerts and scorecards of HR related data to support enterprise wide workforce planning efforts. Prepares analysis and presentations to identify business trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Assist with identifying required reporting & analytics/modeling needs across functional HR teams.
  • Analyze and monitor the effectiveness of reporting systems, programs and platforms.
  • Advise and consult HR colleagues on data mining and reporting strategies/techniques.
  • Create ad hoc reporting.

 HR Performance Metrics

  • Assist with development and defining performance metrics (KPIs) that provide insight on key trends impacting business performance.
  • Produce reporting on key HR metrics.
  • Develop analysis to measure impact of various HR programs and initiatives on both an ad-hoc and ongoing basis.
  • Conduct analysis of survey results and suggests actionable recommendations for review by management.
  • Collect and conduct analysis of data to gain actionable insight to drive business decisions for all areas of the company related to HR.

System Enhancements & Functionality Implementation

  • Assist with gathering user requirements for new or changing process and collaboratively work with HR partners to ensure changes asked are technically sound and are sound business practices.
  • Assist with new set up in system and test functionality to requirements.
  • Present functionality options to stakeholders and manage deployment.
  • Collaborate with designated technical staff to coordinate application of configuration changes related to projects, upgrades, and fixes.
  • Develop test plan and project plan for upgrades/new functionality.

System Integration Support & Development

  • Assist with the development and enhancements of integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and reports in Workday.
  • Document technical specification and workflow required to meet deliverables and maintain integration requirements documentation.
  • Translate business requirements and uses cases to develop and deliver functional/technical specifications, requirements documents, detailed use cases for new product features or functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis and prevention for integration, system, reporting, and data issues.
  • Perform data uploads into HCM as needed.
  • Coordinate application of configuration changes related to projects, upgrades and fixes.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, including coordinating with Workday Customer Center using their case management system.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s DegreeinHuman Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science or other relevant degree (Additional equivalent experience above the required minimum may substitute).
  • 3+ years' experience in advance report writing and creating complex dashboards in Workday HCM including familiarity with all Workday report types; Composite, Matrix, BIRT, Dashboards, etc.
  • 2+ years' experience in data analysis/visualization software tools, such as: Tableau, Microsoft Power BI,  etc.
  • Additional equivalent education above the required minimum may substitute for experience listed above.
  • Strong PC skills in the Microsoft product line including Excel and Word.
  • Strong knowledge of Web Languages (JavaScript, HTML, etc).
  • Strong knowledge of XSLT document transformations.
  • Experience managing projects, working with stakeholders, and delivering reports within timelines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the following: SAS and/or SQL, Workday Prism, Workday People Analytics, and/ or Workday Studio.
