Summary of Duties: Functions as a software engineer on a product-based scrum team using agile methodologies and principles. Participates and adds value to product backlog refinement, and sprint planning and reviews. Develops technical solutions to meet user story acceptance criteria. Peer reviews code developed by other engineers. Develops sound, reusable, scalable, and efficient code. Assists in testing technical solutions developed by others. Unit tests personally-generated code. Creates user stories including acceptance criteria. Refines and expands upon existing user stories. Makes decisions on how to develop technical solution with approval needed from Sr Technical Architect. Duties may be performed remotely.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer and Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and five (5) years’ experience as Software Developer, Database Developer, or related role. Three (3) years’ experience with: SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); SSRS and Data warehousing; Extract, Transform, Load operations; and Relational databases, including MS SQL Server, designing tables, writing SQL queries, and stored procedures; and C#.
