ERG involvement means advancing initiatives that matter while inspiring growth and promoting leadership in employee-led settings.

BEEP’s mission is to foster an environment where all employees can thrive by bringing diverse perspectives that support Navient’s ID&E objectives through professional development, cultural and community engagement, and workforce collaboration.

The Colorful Connection

The Colorful Connection creates an inclusive and safe community that empowers LGBTQ+ individuals and promotes an educational atmosphere that allows everyone to grow and learn from each other. We strive to be an active resource that advocates for inclusion, diversity, and equity.

Environmental, social, governance

(Environmental, Social, and Governance)

Our ESG resource group advocates for a culture where environmental responsibility, social responsibility, and corporate governance are part of Team Navient’s success. They accomplish this by introducing and promoting programs, raising awareness, and inspiring others to support sustainability in our own lives and in the workplace.

Mind & Body Wellness

The Mind & Body employee resource group serves to inspire and empower one another to take charge of their health, as we strive to be the healthiest, best version of ourselves. Expect to help plan wellness initiatives and events that support better livelihoods for all.

(Latino Community ERG)

Somos Amigos supports a strong, culturally diverse network that advocates for leadership, mentorship, and community service while encouraging Latino members to reach their fullest potential, both personally and professionally, in a positive and nurturing environment.

Veterans Resource Group

Our Veterans Resource Group is open to all team members who are interested in supporting veterans and being active in our local communities. The VRG’s mission is to leverage the expertise of our current and former service members to assist in the recruitment and retention of other veterans. The Group also partners with service organizations to assist veterans in their transition to the private sector.

Our WISE ERG is a great way to branch out and meet other women and allies in our organization. Participants can expect to meet monthly to share resources, improve skills, and connect. WISE spearheads events and activations like Navient’s Empowered Women’s Conference and Women’s Equality Day.

I’m honored to lead The Colorful Connection, Navient’s LGBTQ+ ERG. The Colorful Connection seeks to create an inclusive community that empowers LGBTQ+ individuals and allies, while fostering an atmosphere that allows everyone to learn and grow. We also strive to serve our local communities and advocate for inclusion, diversity, and equity for all Navient employees. I encourage anyone who is struggling in their ID&E journey to seek perspectives that differ from their own and to always choose kindness!

I am the Lead of the Black/African American ERG known today as the Black, Engaged & Empowered Professionals (BEEP). In my nearly 24 years with the organization, leading this ERG continues to be one of the most rewarding experiences for me. Creating and nurturing a safe space for members, we strive to offer a sense of belonging, connection, perspective, engagement, and growth. It’s great to listen to the interests and needs of BEEP members, but even more amazing to deliver!

I’ve had the very rewarding opportunity to co-lead Navient’s Mind & Body Wellness ERG. The M&BW ERG is a growing group of fellow employees from all types of backgrounds, roles and experiences. It serves to inspire and empower others to take charge of their health as we strive to be the best version of ourselves. It’s great to be surrounded by like-minded and motivated peers as we all look to support each other in life’s journey at Navient. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to be part of the M&BW ERG!

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation recognizes Navient as one of the best places to work for LGBTQ+ people. We also are a member of the Business Coalition for the Equality Act, a group of hundreds of leading U.S. employers that support the Equality Act, federal legislation that would provide the same basic protections to LGBTQ+ people as are provided to other protected groups under federal law.

The Forum of Executive Women

Navient has been named a Champion of Board Diversity by The Forum of Executive Women, the Greater Philadelphia Region’s premier women’s organization. The Forum of Executive Women annually honors the top public companies in the Philadelphia region with 30% or more women on their respective boards. This is the eighth time that Navient has been recognized as a Champion of Board Diversity.
