Reporting Associate

We are hiring a detail oriented Reporting Associate to support our strategy enhancements and analytics. In this role you will create and monitor client inventory, activity and performance reporting used in day-to-day operations. Working closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting on performance, client trends, performance metrics, strategy performance analytics, inventory management, development of new collection/business tools, etc.

Essential Job Functions

Report Generation

  • Update / distribute daily, weekly, monthly operations and client reports.
  • Modification of existing reports to support business requirements.
  • Update dashboard reports using commercial reporting software.
  • Communicate / present data to all levels of management.

Develop Operational and Client Reporting

  • Assist in data mining efforts to identify trends and report trends.
  • Assist in identifying the need for and documenting new report requirements.
  • Create dashboard reports using commercial reporting software.
  • Communicate / present data to all levels of management.
  • Document and maintain detailed report specifications for all assigned reports.

Data Analysis

  • Participate in analytic projects in response to business needs and provide supporting reports and analysis.
  • Visualize and present data analysis as appropriate to facilitate end user data analysis.
  • Develop supplemental reporting as necessary to support research findings.

Project Management

  • Prioritize all assigned tasks to ensure on time completion.
  • Provide regular updates to keep end users / management informed of progress and issues.
  • Complete special projects as assigned, incorporating basic project management methodologies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Some college- Associates Degree or 2+ years of post-secondary education in:Information Systems, Project Management, Business Analysis or Statistics. Additional equivalent experience above the required minimum may substitute.
  • 0-2 years reporting experience with the demonstrated ability to create and generate reports using applicable business systems that accurately and efficiently reflect business results, trends, issues and compliance. 
  • 1-2 years  using Excel Pivot tables and Access Database manipulation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Additional equivalent education above the required minimum may substitute for above level of experience.
  • This position will support a federal government contract. Applicants must be able to obtain Public Trust security clearance as required of federal government contractors to include a background check conducted by the U.S. Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment for public trust or sensitive positions. For this level of clearance, applicants must posses U.S permanent resident status for a minimum of 3 years.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with the following: SQL and relational databases, data visualization and presentation, business intelligence (BI) technologies and process, data mining, machine learning, predictive modelling, statistics, and/ or SSRs, SSIS, SQL.
